5. Avoid Eye-Rubbing:
Rubbing eyes frequently can cause germs to spread and lead to infections. Such as children with conjunctivitis should not rub their eyes as it can worsen the ill effects of the virus. Being a parent you should teach your children to touch their eyes, under any circumstances barring an emergency, only after washing their hands.
6. Avoid Using Kaajal or/and Soorma:
The application of kaajal or soorma (both are varieties of Kohl) on the eyelids of your children is not a good practice. Unless you can personally vouch for the quality of the materials used to manufacture them. These substances are not considered safe and may affect their eye-sight.
7. Stop Use of Unsafe Toys:
Always supervise your children when at home and instruct them not to play with sharp toys, such as jagged-framed toys. Such toys are quite dangerous and can prove very harmful to them. You can eradicate this thing beforehand by not letting your child buy any sharp-edged toys.
8. Additional Protection to be Adhered:
Keep an eye on your children when it comes to fireworks. Make sure that they maintain safe distance from it. Ensure that they wear goggles while swimming to protect them from infections. Do not let them come in contact with various chemicals and sprays.
