There are many side effects of diabetes, which depend upon the severity and type of diabetes to a person. Diabetes is caused when there is decreased or increased volume of insulin in the human body. It can be cured by taking proper medications, but most of the diabetic patient do not care for their health, which leads to other severe health complications and even death.
The Diabetic Ketoacidosis occurs when the diabetic patient goes through dehydration. The hormones start breaking down the fat and muscles or liver cells in to glucose and get over the deficiency, thus causing fatigue, dry skin and mouth, abdominal pain, low blood pressure, increased heart rate, rapid breathing or nausea.
The chances of stroke increase with diabetes because these patients go through high or low blood pressure problems consequently increasing the stress in blood vessels. The blood vessels of retina may also swell and cause many eye diseases like Cataract, Glaucoma and Diabetic Retinopathy. In cataract the eye lens gets clouded and affects the vision. The optic nerve is damaged and loss of vision is caused because of Glaucoma. In Diabetic Retinopathy there is blindness or severe loss of vision.
Because of reduction in blood circulation, feet are the part of the body that receives the least amount of blood and due to this, the risk of foot ulcers increases. A slight injury turns out to be severe and it does not even alleviate too soon. In the inner ear, there are many small blood vessels which contribute in hearing, when the blood sugar level increases it also affects the hearing of the patients.
Due to high or low levels of blood sugars in nerves, diabetes causes negative affects in the sensation and does not let you feel the pain or temperature swings. Through this the nerves get damage badly and are not able to recognize various sensations. This side effect of diabetes is known as Diabetic Neuropathy. It also causes numbness, burning and pain at the affects almost every part of the body. Because of this nerve damage, Gastroparesis also occurs in which the food passes through stomach after long delays and results in are abdominal bloating, weight loss, lack of appetite, heartburn and vomiting.
The kidney starts getting damaged when there is high blood pressure or excessive minerals passes through urine. The symptoms surface 5 to 10 years of regular damage. If this damage is diagnosed in early stage then the patient can slow it down by keeping control on blood pressure, by eating healthy diet and exercise regularly. These healthy measures can prevent the kidney damages but not completely.
These serious health problems can be prevented through the correct treatment at the earlier stages and by adopting the medically recommended healthy lifestyle.
I was diagnosed as HEPATITIS B carrier in 2013 with fibrosis of the
ReplyDeleteliver already present. I started on antiviral medications which
reduced the viral load initially. After a couple of years the virus
became resistant. I started on HEPATITIS B Herbal treatment from
ULTIMATE LIFE CLINIC (www.ultimatelifeclinic.com) in March, 2020. Their
treatment totally reversed the virus. I did another blood test after
the 6 months long treatment and tested negative to the virus. Amazing
treatment! This treatment is a breakthrough for all HBV carriers.
